Welcome to the Community Hub
The hub is an exciting new venture for Re-Utilise, now that we are closer to the centre of Lowestoft.
It’s open to everyone, and is the new home for our Craft Workshops, Drop-in sessions and winter Warm Room.
What’s on at the Community Hub?
The Community Hub brings together people from Lowestoft and surrounding areas to enjoy some company – and the chance to meet new friends for life, learn new skills and hopefully have good fun at the same time.
The Community Hub is located at Former Lowestoft And North Suffolk Hospital, Tennyson Rd, Lowestoft NR32 1PT.

Workshops
Our popular Craft Workshops are the ideal place for you to explore your creative side…
Learn a new skill – or improve an existing one – in relaxed and friendly sessions run by our team of experienced and talented volunteers.
There are regular workshops in Pottery, Glass Fusing and Paper Crafting. And occasional workshops (such as Sewing, Card-making and Decopatch) at different times during the year.

Drop-in
The Drop-in is open every Friday, from 10am to 2pm.
Call in for a friendly chat and a cuppa, meet friends old and new – and while you’re here try your hand at something creative in the free Drop-in Workshop.
This is an informal space where you can transform unwanted ‘scrap’ art and craft materials – all good quality and reusable items from the Scrap Store – into much-loved works of art or creative play.
Who knows what hidden talents you could discover!
Warm room
Come in out of the cold!
During the winter, we will be one of Lowestoft’s winter Warm Room locations.
You’ll find a warm and welcoming place to enjoy a hot drink, and join in games and conversations as you choose.
We’ll be giving more information about our Warm Room days and times later in the year.

We are in the old hospital site, on the corner of Tennyson Road and Milton Road East.
The main entrance is in Tennyson Road.
It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the bus station in Gordon Road, and about half a mile from Lowestoft train station.
There’s parking on-site, and a bike shelter.
